#Connected Camporee Schedule

Unless otherwise specified, this schedule is based on Eastern, Mountain, & Pacific Daylight Times. Conferences, especially those outside of Canada, are to make adjustments to their schedule.

  • Eastern Daylight Time – Maritime, Ontario, and Quebec Conferences
  • Mountain Daylight Time – Alberta and Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conferences
  • Pacific Daylight Time – British Columbia and other International Conferences

 

August 4, Wednesday

Time Activity Instructions
9:00 am Camp setup Pitch your tent in your backyard or inside your house Pathfinders are to sleep in their tent at least 1 overnight during the time of camporee.
12:00 noon Posting of camp pictures/ selfies on Instagram or Facebook using #ConnectedCamporee or #connectécamporée Take a selfie picture or video showing yourself (with scarf) and your camp set/tent
7:00 pm Website exploration – www.camporee.ca

Everyone is encouraged to check out the camporee.ca website as it will be the main meeting place and hub for all virtual camporee events. An info Centre will be available, which can be accessed by clicking the blue chat icon located on the lower-right corner of your screen .

7:25-7:30 pm Countdown starts at 7:25 pm with the showing of some “throwback” pictures and videos.  
7:30-9:00 pm

Opening Ceremonies/ Nighttime Program

–          Pathfinder Hangout at 8:30 pm with Zoom link available on the website

Live streaming of program will be on the website,  YouTube channel, and Zoom (for French interpretation)
9:00-10:00 pm Free Family Time (Game or Movie night) All Pathfinder families are encouraged to come up with family-bonding activities
10:00 pm Lights Out  

 

August 5, Thursday

7:30-8:30 Breakfast at Home Campsite Encourage Pathfinders to prepare their breakfast with the
8:30-9:00 Personal Preparation  
8:55-9:00 Countdown starts at 8:25 am with the showing of some “throwback” Pathfinder pictures and videos.  
9:00-9:30 Morning Devotion / Flag ceremony Live streaming of program will be on the website,  YouTube channel, and Zoom (for French interpretation)
9:30-11:30 Camporee Activities  
             >> 9:30-10:30 –          Honour classes Plan with your club as to what honours they will be taking during this time slot. Honour presentations and worksheets can be accessed via the camporee website
             >> 10:30-11:30 –          Indoor or Outdoor Fun / Acts of Kindness Choose from an array of camporee activities. All Pathfinders from your club  are urged to take part
     
11:30 am-12:30 pm Lunch at Home Campsite Individual campers
12 noon Posting of camporee honours and activities pictures or videos (including selfies in your camporee shirt or club shirt) on Instagram or Facebook using #ConnectedCamporee or #connectécamporée Use also the designated hashtag for each honour and camporee activity
12:30-2:00 Free Time Individual campers
2:00-4:00 Camporee Activities

–          Heroes 2 Bible Challenge (Qualifying Rounds by conferences/including international clubs)

–          Indoor or Outdoor Fun / Acts of Kindness

Registration is required for Heroes 2. Each club should have as many participants as possible for this event. Top 4 will be chosen from each conference from this level). See game rules on the website or in this this planning guide.

–          Other Pathfinders not participating in the Heroes 2 are to other  camporee activities.

Set up a Zoom meeting for your club and prepare a simple program for the morning devotion
9:30-10:30 Virtual Outreach/ Acts of Kindness / Posting of inspiring quotes on social media using our official hashtags. Encourage all Pathfinders to take part
10:30-11:00 Countdown to the program starts with musical presentations Tune in and be blessed
11:00 am-12:30 pm Midday Worship (in Type A Uniform) Live streaming of program will be on the website,  YouTube channel, and Zoom (for French interpretation)
12:30 pm Posting of selfie pictures or videos in complete Type A uniform on Instagram or Facebook using #ConnectedCamporee or #connectécamporée  
12:30-3:00 Lunch at Home Campsite/ Free Time  
3:00-5:00

Baptism, Acts of Kindness, Compassion Ministry, GLOW tract distribution, prayer walks, etc. (LIVE via website)

–          Others may attend Sabbath-related honour classes via website

This will be held in real time. Registration required for clubs that will do in-person outreach programs with reporting to be featured on the live program. Upon registration, you will receive a Streamyard link.
